Dan Marshall

Dan Marshall has over seven and a half years with Ford Motor Company, the last two with the Packaging Engineering Department. Previous assignments include stops in, Material Control, Sheet Metal Processing, and Warehouse Operations at the Parts Redistribution Center in Brownstown Michigan. He has also spent time in Supply Chain Management working with suppliers to reduce lead times and backorders.

Dan's responsibilities still include Hood and Liftgate Packaging designs. He instituted a Total System Impact tool or (TSI) for new model and redesign packaging opportunities. He also represents Packaging Engineering in all requested PSMAC and P&S Club meetings.

Dan, originally from St. Louis, MO is a graduate of Indiana University (Bloomington), where he received a Sport Marketing and Management degree. After graduation he went to work for the St. Louis Blues as an intern in their Public Relations department for two seasons. He then went on to become Public Relations Director and Assistant Marketing Director for the Roanoke Express of the East Coast Hockey League.

Dan recently completed his MBA from the University of Detroit Mercy in June 2001 and looks forward to the Ford opportunities that lie ahead of him. He is an avid golfer and soccer player who enjoys watching his hometown teams (St. Louis not Detroit) whenever possible.
