Dan Boylan has 25 years experience with Ford Motor Company, the last 19 with FCSD. While attending college he worked during the summer months first as a picker at the Kansas City PDC and then on the Kansas City assembly line. His career with Ford began at the Kansas City Assembly Plant Controller's Office in the General Accounting activity. There he worked in the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Property Accounting departments. After enduring a two-year layoff in the early 70's, thanks to the Arab oil embargo, Dan transferred from the Assembly Division to FCSD. There he has held positions as the Kansas City PDC Warehouse Clerk, the Order Processing Center Accountant, Direct Ship Section Supervisor, and has been in his present position as Division Packaging Engineer since 1986.

In that position he has traveled to Germany, England and Spain to understand FCSD's overseas packaging processes and has visited the PDC in Mexico to integrate them into the U.S. packaging system. Dan has spearheaded Packaging's drive into e-commerce by establishing internet web sites for both FCSD suppliers and the dealer body.

Dan has a Business Degree from the University of Kansas and likes watching sports of any kind...especially Kansas Jayhawk basketball. He has two married sons and enjoys visiting them in North Carolina and Kansas whenever possible.
